Learning about the different aspects of labor and delivery is one of the biggest benefits of childbirth education. You get a clear picture of what will be done and what works for you. As your course instructors, we will dedicate time to put your birth preferences in writing and develop your birth plan.

Also, you’ll be made aware of any complications that might arise during labor. We know it may sound crazy but knowing what to do upfront puts your mind at ease. We will also be available to discuss any pain management options. You’ll get to know the pros and cons of all pain handling options including medications like epidural blocks.

Postpartum and Newborn care head start

In addition to learning all about labor and delivery, we get to go through what happens during and after childbirth. We will give you valuable information that will come in hand during your and your baby’s postpartum care. Your doula will also come to visit you once the labor and delivery process is done.

Help coordinate with your care team
If you need any information from your care team, we will help coordinate conversations with them. we will ensure you have all the information you need to be ready for the birth of your little one.
